Celebrating 10 years of Cycling culture
The Iloilo Bike Festival, themed “Cycle for Change,” is a vibrant celebration that not only promotes cycling but also aims actively contributes to the fulfillment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The festival events are mostly anchored on these SGDs but individually, a particular SGD that impacts the activity most is also placed
ABOUT THE BIKE FEST
With the pursuit of aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), the city of Iloilo is once again celebrating the annual Iloilo Bike Festival now even grander and bigger on its 10th year.
This year, the award-winning initiatives by the local government unit and the cycling community is anchored on four tenets: Environmental Advocacy, Health & Wellness, Community Engagement, and Empowerment and Inclusivity.
MILESTONES
Celebrate the culture, history, and diversity of cycling by showcasing cycling disciplines, and cyclingrelated activities to promote sustainability and develop infrastructure based on Iloilo City‘s 2028 roadmap.
Aside from the diverse array of activities set for this celebration, the city, and the whole cycling community are also hopeful in successfully bagging a Guiness World Record for the world’s LARGEST HUMAN IMAGE OF A BICYCLE to be participated in by a target of 5,000 individuals.
